“STEM in Action” Project held its second meeting

"STEM in Action" Project held its second meeting in Cork, Ireland.

On 04-05 May 2023, the second face-to-face project meeting of the “STEM in Action” project was hosted by Munster University of Technology in Cork, Ireland. The first meeting was organised online due to COVID-19 and then held face-to-face in Zagreb. This meeting was organised in Ireland, in line with the partners’ decisions, to make effective use of a nine-month period without meetings and to coordinate partners’ progress.
The main purpose of the meeting was to review the overall progress of our project with all partners and to formulate future plans for the nine-month period without face-to-face activities. Turkey, as the coordinating country, participated in the meeting by utilising the project management budget. The main agenda items of the meeting were as follows:
– Progress Update
– Intellectual Output 1 (Current Situation and Next Steps for Preschool/Branch Teachers)
– Prototype Presentation
– Intellectual Output 1 (Presentation of Recorded Videos – MTU/UPB/TU)
– Intellectual Output 2 (Current Situation and Next Steps for Preschool/Branch Teachers)
– Dissemination (Dissemination Activities Updates/Future Steps)
– Quality Assurance
– Activity Evaluation
– Financial and Administrative Issues
– Multiplier Events – Deadlines and Plans (STEM Days)
Tarsus University (TU) from Turkey, Munster University of Technology (MTU) from Ireland, Paderborn University (PBU) from Germany, Pi Tech from Greece and University of Zagreb (UniZg) from Croatia attended the meeting.
This productive meeting created a strong co-operation and synergy between the project partners and contributed significantly to the successful progress of the “STEM in Action” project. This meeting in Ireland was an important step towards achieving the objectives of our project.
